Nicholas County got their season off to a strong start with a hard fought win over Bethlehem. Last year Pendleton County was no challenge for Nicholas County. Is this year going to be more of the same? Can Pendleton County pose a threat in this game?

Sorry, not this year Wildcats.

Would love to rehear the story of how Pendleton Co. football program got started. Is there a Wildcat footballer out there that could share that story? My memory (occassionally accurate) recalls it is a classic story BGPers would enjoy.

Cats were off last week, so extra time to prepare for Nicholas. Let's see if it pays off. I would think a key would be to stop Zach Richardson, which they did not do last year.

If as much as he touched it last year in the playoffs vs Fairview is any indication on how they're going to use him this year, it may not be a bad idea to have quite a few players key on him and make the rest of the Jackets beat you.

14 carries for 156 and a touchdown last year against PC.

Pretty sure he had 20+ carries and they threw it to him a handful of times in playoffs. Look for some similar looks for him this entire season if they're going to fulfill their preseason expectations.
