Watusi Posted August 20, 2016 Posted August 20, 2016 Phelps is moving in the right direction. Their defense played well but they haven't found the formula yet for offense. Turnovers and field position worked against them and they were down 20-0 at halftime. They played AC 8-8 in the second half.

Phelps roster is now double in numbers from last season and there is an infusion of excitement in the program. The best part I thought was they kept battling. They never quit and played all out. For example they broke a long run with about 45 seconds left in the game down to the 1 yd line but it was called back for a penalty. They shook it off and came right back and scored before game's end. I don't think past teams would have played with that fire down 4 touchdowns in the 4th quarter.
