July 24, 201610 yr Tim is solid and safe. Probably wouldn't have been my pick, but it will be good enough. Kaine won't excite those on the left but should appeal to independents. The Senator from VA is too vanilla for my taste. I prefer Ben and Jerrys to vanilla. For what it's worth he and his wife belong to a Catholic church with a mostly black congregation in a working-class section of the city.
