July 22, 201610 yr Author He leaves a game once a week with a hammy. While I do lean toward hoping this deal materializes, I don't feel strongly one way or the other about the possibility, and his injury history mixed with the Reds' training staff would be reason to worry.
July 23, 201610 yr Me too. His behavior has improved (probably due to maturity), and he's young and talented. A plus defender, and in the grand scheme of things, not all that expensive. And he's under contract until 2019, so he'd have two years to prove himself at which time you either sign him or move on. Cincinnati is a much better hitters park than LA, and the change of scenery might benefit him. Puig is not a plus defender in my book. He certainly has a plus plus arm, but there are times when I wonder if he is wearing roller skates in the OF and his baseball fundamentals are awful. Been used to being bailed out by his arm for too long. No thanks.

Agree with all this and then some, but like have been saying, this front office that is in place will sign Bruce long term(sort of,3-4 years),after this season and will move either DeScifani,Cozart or Duvall at this years trade deadline. He's a nice guy and represents the team and City well.
