I heard the All Star game is on Monday night at Dixie. Does anyone have times of the games? Rosters? Is it 9th region only or is it NKY with SK and Scott included?

There is a Junior All Star game at Asbury on Wednesday. How many different All Star games are there?

Game times are 5 and 7:30. Juniors then seniors.

Not sure on roster. Each team sends two seniors and two juniors.

It is ran by the Northern Kentucky Baseball Coaches Association. SK, Scott, Campbell and Brossart (I think) are included. I think those are the only non-9th teams.

I know Joey Yancey from Holy Cross is going as a junior....he told me the game is at 5pm.

Did this game get played?

Yes, not sure of outcome but it was played.

Jr East 8 Jr West 6

Sr West 7 Sr East 0

The West had the fire power on the mound from the 33rd with Friend , Purnell and Zig , even Padgett came in and looked good. Great Time watching these seniors for the last time!

Who pitched for the EAST...?

Who pitched for the EAST...?

7 Pitchers pitched for each team. One inning each. I know Bankemper, Seiter, Franzen, Schwartz ( I think was his name from CovCath), a pitcher from Holmes and one from Holy Cross.

Well actually the East threw six pitchers since the West did not bat in the bottom of the seventh.

Yes the velocity and power was definitely on the West side. Score was 3-0 going into bottom of sixth then the West picked up 4 runs. Very quick game. Several quick innings for both sides.

Definitely what this game is all about. One last time (or for some first and only time) seeing a player play.
