Basketball season for 2016/2017 should provide another exciting year. What should we expect from Covington Latin? Remember, please be constructive.

As my Coach told us when we played them, "be respectful, most of you boys will need a job some day and those guys will own the companies where you may work".

Losing a lot, I believe they only have one senior (Robby Case) for the 16-17 season. There is really only one upcoming junior (Joel Devadason) who can make an impact, he got some varsity playing time on a senior-packed team last year. Lots of sophomores and freshmen who play and will have a decent team when they are juniors and seniors, but only one or two played JV last year, and very young, looks like it will be a tough year.

Their coach works very hard and though I believe because of their age they are at a major disadvantage, I never have heard him complain about that.
