A lot of young guys got experience last year that they normally wouldn't have but due to injuries they had to play. That will help the Lions out a lot this year. The junior class has a lot of athletes and a lot depends on how they work and develop this summer. I expect a much better season for Lewis County in 2016.

I see 3-7 or 4-6 with this schedule depending upon what a couple of teams do. The problem will be if they start 0-3, which is very possible even with a bye week to prepare and adjust, the moral may start to dip.

Take this for what it is worth. I only caught them during the live three quarter scrimmage game. To me, they will have to find some kind of downfield passing game to start. Other things is, they to me seemed really slow as a team, so if they have not gotten faster through nature taking its course this problem will continue. Not counting new guys on the varsity this season, they might have that speed that was missing in my eyes in 15. I also think they will have to tackle 100% better than they showed me the only time I caught them last season. huge thing is they, especially on the lines have to be strong, bigger would be a gigantic plus to.

Go luck to Lewis this season.

I would be very surprised to see them win a game this year.

This team will have the skill players necessary to be competitive. The question will be IF the o-line can protect the qb in order to get the ball into the hands of the skill players. As we all know football is won up-front and this will be true for the Lions as well. O & D line perform well the Lions will be competitive if not it may be a long season for the Lions! Hopefully that wont be the case! #RollPride
