Anybody have information on 9th region all sophomore team? Like a roster?

Congrats to Evan Molitor(Lloyd) and Brandon Runion(Cooper) for being selected to the All State Sophomore team. They go to Asbury University for a showcase on June 21st. The 2 alternates are Sam Hennigan(Highlands) and Gunner Smith(NCC).

 

The players are nominated by their own head coach and selected by the other head coaches in the 9th region. This is a big honor.

 

Hopefully my information is correct.

Sam Hennigan really has provided stability for Highlands at 3rd base. Not flashy (which is no surprise for anyone who knows his older brother Luke) but makes the plays he's supposed to make. Also is hitting .333.

 

HHS Drew Rom should have been considered as well.

Never heard of the 9th region All Sophomore Team. Is this new ?

Not new......The All Star game for Sophomores (all regions represented) was played at Pleasure Ridge Park last year. Just not a lot of information out there on it.

Never heard of it either, is there a roster or more info on who made it from other Regions?

How did you find out the date and the place. I have not seen or heard anything yet.

I believe two per Region get nominated with an alternate, could be wrong on this.

Not sure on that. 3 from the 10th made it and had 2 alternates as well. Would like to know time and place or how to find out that info.

Games will be at Asbury College in Wilmore, KY.

 

June 21st is the Sophomore Showcase. Registration is 1:00-1:30.

June 22nd is the Junior Showcase. Registration is 1:00-1:30.

 

Workout will be held from 1:30-3:15 both days.

Games will begin at 4:00 and 30 minutes after 1st game on both days.
