Who is Tye Lawson...and what is his coaching resume?

He was the HC at Bullitt Central last season.

I heard about 10 days ago that he was going to be the Head football coach AND AD.

I know he was ready to get out of BC after all the hoopla that happened this off season.

Don't know too much about Eminence, but gotta think he'll do a good job.

According to his emails on the listserv he is both the HC and the AD.

That is what my confirmation was, I was told he got the job 3 weeks ago.

Experience at several different schools, male being one of them. Not playing the toughest schedule in the world. Out of bullitt county, gotta think he's in a better spot than he was less than a month ago.

Looking at the enrollment numbers posted on the KHSAA website, it appears Eminence has grown some in recent years. They are obviously still small and it might just be a one-time bump, but that would seem to be a good sign going forward. Eminence has struggled to win against the bigger 1A schools, but rarely have they been bad. A guy like Lawson who has had some success can maybe boost that program in the coming seasons.

Tough district for Eminence. The program will continue to struggle with bigger class a schools until they can get numbers up. Fielding a team with 28-32 boys is hard to do consistently.

MS coach the last few years has done a good job at getting numbers up at that level. Agreed they need to stay up to compete in their district.
