Boyle Co. 21 Harrison Co. 6

I know we are young, but I didn't expect to see 9 Sophomores on the field playing defence at the same time late in the 4th. quarter.

Perhaps we were seeing what those "9" sophomores could do. Perhaps we were resting the juniors and seniors. Perhaps we ........well let's just hope that we saw what we wanted to see and rested who we wanted to rest and we can play a better second half next week.:D

I noticed that Daniel was no longer on the team last night, but this is totaly different than what I heard on the sideline last night as to why he was no longer on the team.

And what I heard in the stands. That being said, I feel that whatever led up to this kid making this decision is probably his business and I won't try to hash out his reasons and what I heard or didn't hear. I'm always afraid that by saying I heard this and I heard that, someone will get something wrong and that's not fair to this young man and his family. Whatever his reason, I wish him the best - in the rest of his life.:thumb:

Basically after the 21 points, it was a game of pretty good boyle d-fense with the exception of a some secondary miscues. Boyle offense struggled. Young quarterback and no crispness. Harrison's d-fense played tough and well. They brought 8 or 9 up front quite a bit and boyle could not take advantage. Hat's off to them. They also have a very good athlete in #15. He had a very good game. Boyle starts 7 soph's on defense and they will need to grow up quickly but they played well last night.

why the young quarterback?? What happened to Tamme?

I heard that this might be a long year for the Breds, glad to see that they have some fight in 'em. Holding Boyle to 21 points is nothing to be ashamed of. Hopefully with teams like Boyle, The Rock, and Lex Cath on the schedule this year, The Breds will be ready for the NKY teams come playoff time.

Under the new setup, the Breds will need to beat LexCath in the playoffs or they won't see a NKY team in the playoffs this year.

I would be interested in what was said on the side line. When you are told to "get off the field, leave your pads in the locker room, and don't come back" I think the meaning is very clear. The next day, most of his team mates were telling him he was kicked off as well. He dressed out the same day but the damage was already done. On Monday, he handed in all his gear.

Granted he had some health problems; broken hand and severe heat exhaustion (that put him in the ER at camp) resulting in hour long severe leg and body cramps as well as loss of stomach contents. And yet after being released from the ER at camp and told to rest by Pardue, he still got up to make evening practice. I may be biased but he had more heart for the game than anybody I know.

I have sent a message to the coach but have not received a reply. I honestly believe they did not want to fool with it anymore and put him in a position where he had to make a choice. It is a shame, especially when someone like Chuck Smith says "Get that kid back on the team. He has talent." I honestly felt he had the potential to play college ball...

I don't know what happened witht the Bayless kid either, except for some chatter around the stands. I will not say what, because it may or may not be true. Either way, we need to pick up the pieces and move forward. I wish Daniel the best, and hope we have someone ready to step up and make a name.for themself.

Good advice from you Rebel fans. We were looking forward to Friday nights sitting under the lights hollering for the Rebels... Hopefully we will find ourselves there in the future.

I know BC is a young team this year and will have some big challenges to overcome. If they can find the heart to go four quarters and stand toe to toe with big teams like Henry Clay, I have no doupt that they will make another run for the carpet.
