The Panthers were 8-2 during the regular season, including some impressive offensive numbers posted in the scoreboard. However, looking closer at their schedule you will take note that the only two times they really faced any kind of challenge, they were handed losses. Their best game of the season, in my opinion, was played in the 1A semifinals when they played Beechwood to their closest scoring game of the season, losing 34-25 to the state runners up.

 

Do you agree with a C+ for Russellville? What grade do you give the Panthers?

I will give Russellville a B-, they got as far as they were going to go with what they had and made a nice showing against BW

I'll join Toothpick on the B- line as in 1A your alot like David and Galliath. Some games your David and some games your Galliath. Only 1A teams they played were their District foes (which are not very good), but when other opponents are struggling like Logan County and Fort Campbell they are actually about 0.5A football wise. Good things are on the horizon for this team in the 2016 campaign!
