From the scoreboard. Got up early this morning, hoping to read all about this Tiger win. Again shocked that BW has so little BGP contributors for baseball. Football must have a billion contributors regularly. With the expectations for this baseball team, I am surprised there is so little posting energy out of Ft. Mitchell. Big All A weekend coming up....lots to discuss, I hope.

Scoreboard at TMC was still on when I drove by. Looks like Beechwood scored 4 in the bottom of 6th.

Fieger came out for

beechwood to start and Schwartz came out for CCH. Beechwood came out very flat and the Colonels struck first in the top of the third where they scored 3 runs on two hits and three errors. Beechwood was able to push one across in the bottom half to make it 4-3 CCH after three. Fieger settled in and allowed 1-2 hits for the rest of the game. The game moved along until the Tigers bats woke up in the sixth, scoring 4 runs. The big hits were by Noah Huseman and freshman Dylan Doverspike. Fieger came out in the seventh, allowed a leadoff hit but was able to sit down the next three colonels.

 

I believe the pitchers for CCH were Schwartz, Armstrong and Pitzer.

Congrats to the Tigers! It is always fun to beat CCH.

Great for Noah and Dylan. After this years senior class, the next great player may be Doverspike. He can play 8 positions and hits the ball really hard to every part of the field (lefty hitter). Two crimes this year at Beechwood.... someone called in a bomb threat yesterday and Doverspike doesn't start varsity.... IMO.

Thanks for the info. Love BW, and miss hearing about them. Real chance to come out of 9th Region, but need things to fall in place.
