LARSON OUT? Bad decision by Davis as he is a good one, who will they get now. Serious issues at Paducah?

Just read this on WPSD website. Wonder if there is a connection with Rodgers leaving?

Not sure why there would be a connection with football and girls' basketball

I have to agree with sweet16. I'm not trying to kick a man while he's down but Larson put together the first losing season at PT in quite some time. I'm having a hard time remembering the last time they didn't win 20 games or more. Keep in mind my only knowledge of Larson's coaching was when he was at Livingston Central. Now I'm a 8th district/2nd region guy so I'm not 100% in the know about what PT did or didn't have on their roster this year. Is that still one of the better talent pools in the region or has the pickings gotten slim since McCracken County came to fruition?

@WKY

Paducah was down this year. There was a reason Coach Thomas slid over to the boys' side as an assistant.

Will they get back to where they were or will it stay down? It may be hard to find a good replacement if the talent pool isn't what it used to be and they have a quick trigger finger if a coach doesn't win right away.

I don't think it looks to be very good for the next couple of years compared to the standards over the past 10 + years.

Why in the world would he leave Henderson County?

Larson is about as good a coach as one can get. Hope they had a good reason to get rid of him. They will be hard pressed to get one as good as him, he will land on his feet. Bad times for the Tornados!

Wonder if Larson will be interested in the Christian Co Job?????
