Superman 1948

Featured Replies

Happen to turn on TCM tonight and find this. I love AMC and TVM, but I had no idea this Superman series existed. It is very much a late 40s early 50s series. The acting is decent at best and it's very high on the corny meter. I guess that's what makes it a classic.

On next is Atom Man vs Supermsn then the Green Hornet, Buck Rodgers and Flash Gordon.

I don't think I've ever seen that guy as Superman before.

I've seen some pictures but never knew it was a series, thought they were from a forgotten movie. Same Lois Lane as the later series with George Reeves.

I saw a movie called Flash Gordon many years ago......wait.....that was Flesh Gordon, nevermind.
