Final from Tuesday evening. Zack Friend pitched for the win and it was called in the bottom of the 5th.

 

Don't have the box score but there was a mix of hits throughout the Cooper lineup with B. Runion hitting a deep double scoring two in the second (or maybe third) inning.

 

Cooper's team is heavy with Sophomores, but enough upperclassman to keep them motivated and on target for the season.

I would say the district games he will pitch in will probable be on Wed. Getting the kid in a weekly routine. I know a couple of teams who got their "ace" on a set schedule.
