March 21, 201610 yr ...dropped this weekend on Netflix (3/18). Watched the first 2 episodes last night. Looks like they are going away from the Kingpin angle this season. So far so good.
August 15, 201610 yr I actually sat and watched seasons one and two with Mrs. S last week. I'm not much into serials or comic book character TV shows, but this one is very well written. Too bad season 3 will not be until 2018. That means it will probably be 2020 before I actually see it, if ever.

I liked Jessica Jones a lot too so it makes me hopeful for both the Luke Cage series and the Iron Fist series that are both supposed to air before the Defenders series starts.

Uuuugh, that's where we will have to part ways Getslow, I thought that series bordered between "I'm not sure if I will finish watching this series" and bad. Didn't care for the Luke Cage portrayal at all, thought he was much too weak, and the whole JJ character was just not real interesting to me.

The show took too long to get going and I didn't care much for Cage either. Maybe the solo series will get him going. But every interaction between Krysten Ritter and David Tennant I thought pure gold. Tennant was brilliant and Jones found her character's voice completely by episode seven (though that's on the writers as much as her). Tennant's twisted fantasy that his feelings were somehow genuine or that his own desires made those of other people merely obstacles to be overcome totally worked for me.
