I heard robinson and fields didnt start Defense? I wonder what was that all about but I heard it was nice game of football and Frankfort came out on top.

The score was 8-8 in a 40 minute, running clock scrimmage. Pikeville had at least 3 starting linemen out along with several others...young guys got most of the PT...

Frankfort put the ball on the ground to many times. They where in scoring position when the clock ran out. Panthers didnt look as sharp his week.

 

Fileds and Robinson did play much defense because coaches are trying to get the young players ready to play.

 

Don't put a lot into a scrimmage, other than both teams playing hard to get ready for the season.

Pikeville had half of their starters out...agree, this scrimmage was for the younger guys...both teams had bright spots and weaknesses exposed, just what the scrimmage was set up for...

3 starting DEFENSIVE linemen were out.......as well as two starting running backs, Chaz Jackson and Daniel Harmon.

 

It was pretty even, with both bright spots and BAD spots. But hey, isn't that what it's for?!
