Nice effort from Desales. Desales packed the zone and East was ice cold from 3 point land going 6-28 from behind the arc. It would have cost them had Tyler Sharpe not scored 19 in the 4th quarter and had several steals late.

Bullitt East will play Doss in the 6th Region final on Monday. Doss beat Fern Creek, 57-44, in the other semi.

This was the worst 3 and half qtrs. performance by East that I have seen in the last 5 years. Then it was the Tyler Sharpe show, scoring 19 pts. in the 4th qtr. just to push it to overtime. Then in OT Jared Farris rises to the occasion, huge dunk down the stretch, also grabbed 15 rebounds!

Desales had a great game plan. Bullitt East helped them out by missing some easy looks, and taking some bad shots. In the end, Bullitt East figured out a way to win. Sharpe found his shot, and a few of the other guys came up with some big plays. This is what March is about. Winning the ugly ones.
