BG is the favorite, and have the talent and depth to win it all at the state level. But, its a one game season from here on out, anything can happen at tourney time. There are 4 or 5 teams capable of playing with the purples on one given night. If it was a best of 3 even, then book the rooms. Too many good players to rule everyone else out.

If Bowling Green didn't win, it might be the biggest upset in the region tournament in around 17 years. You might make an argument for Russell County over Warren Central in 2009, but I feel it would be the biggest upset since an undefeated Bowling Green team lost to Russellville in 1999. There is no team in this region that can remotely match Bowling Green for talent. They're better 1-5 than every team, and deeper than every team. Yes, things happen in single game eliminations, but they have no threat from Glasgow. So they basically have two serious games to win it. It would be stunning - STUNNING - if they lost. Like Fishback's Greenwood team in 1996 losing level. Upsets in this region are remarkably uncommon.
