What makes you say that? It can be one of the better jobs in the state. I'm not saying on a level of Belfry or Highlands or Trinity but if the right Coach came in and the community got behind the program, then I think they could be a really good program.

It absolutely can be all of that. I think what @jessepinkman is eluding to is along the lines of what I said.

 

Fans were getting bored with 9-10 wins, 2nd round and region final appearances the last couple years of Clevenger because of the offense he was running and it not being flashy enough (I guess). Enter Lewis operating out of the spread, a couple of down years and people were still grumbling.

Go 9-1 and get beat in the 1st round every year and ill be happy. whole lot better than 4-7.

I guess it depends on what you mean by "Henderson People". I'm a Henderson person and have no delusions of what the job is or isn't. That said, I definitely know what it could and should be.

The interviews have took place and I will just say 4 of the 5 had names that started with J. Leave a little suspense.

If he is the best man for the job, why don't you? I haven't heard any names but I can think of other coaches that I wouldn't want to have the job.

I think Lovelace applied. Yes if they run a spread offense you probably won't want them to apply.

Steve Lovelace isn't going to Henderson. That is a step down from CC. That will kill Hendo people but it's the truth. Josh Boston is the guy.
