Should the Bengals make a play for James Laurinaitis?

Featured Replies

I'd like to have him in Bengal stripes. He can play every down in the rugged AFC North. Definitely don't want to see him in the division at Pitt, Balt or Clev.

The Bengals pay 5 million a year for Rey M. I don't think they will move a 5 million a year guy to the Sam backer position when they rarely like to use their Sam backer. Or if they keep Rey M at middle then that means James L plays the Sam backer and rarely plays.

fc, what about purely from a depth standpoint?

I guess I should put it this way, I would love to have him. However based on how the Bengals run their defense I don't see them picking him up unless he is willing to come here and play less snaps which I don't think he would want or should.

So I typically try not let myself think to much about guys who i don't think will end up here. I do hope I am wrong though.
