Bellevue vs. Lloyd Scrimmage

Featured Replies

Curious to know what the Tigers have this year.

Don't know the score, left at the half, but the Tigers seem to have an explosive O line opening holes for an explosive # 44, good speed.

Lot of power at fullback, #35 must have carried 4 Lloyd players on his back for about 10 yards.

Lloyds QB throws a sweet ball, probably the best I've seen in a while from anybody in NKY. Their HB, # 22 has excelent speed and cuts well.

I am going to go out on a limb and probably assume that #44 for Bellevue is Justin Ross and #35 is Tague who is a load from what I hear. Eckstein is a great coach so they will be the team to beat for the 4th playoff spot if not simply because of coaching.

So your basing who the favorite is on who is coaching the team... not the boys actually playing on the field???

  Bellevue is the team to beat for the 4th playoff spot after losing their whole team pratically from last year??? I really do not see where you can say this? Yes they got a good coach, but they probably will be alot like Ludlow last year with being competitive but just not having enough to make the playoffs. I know Ludlow returns all kinds of starters from last years young team, so they will have alot more experience than the Bellevue players. And experience does make a differnce. I really think its going to be more of a fight between Ludlow and Dayton for the 4th playoff spot and not Bellevue...

And you are entitled to your opinion..you may be right. I acknowledge Ludlow has more experience back and Lickert is doing a good job with the Dayton boys. I am just saying that Eckstein has a history of getting the max out of his players and is a strong motivator so even though the Tigers lost most of their starters, I.....key word....I .still think they are the favorite for the 4th spot.

No, the players still have to do the playing so No I am not basing my opinion soley on the coach winning the games. I do think that outside of Schneider at NCC he is the best coach up here in Class A. Only mentioned Schneider because of his 20, 000 wins and only because of that history.
