I was leaning towards Alex Cook of Male, but Connor McKim of St. X has willed his team into 7th Region consideration, and has been lighting it up as of the past month. He's my front-runner right now. Any thoughts? Other players?

I'd also go with McKim right now. By the way, are any colleges looking at him? The guard at Ballard--Jamil Wilson, I believe his name is--is also good but I don't think he's having quite the year that McKim is. Jacob King at Trinity is asked to do a lot for his team, kind of like Tyler Ulis. But I doubt he will be POY. Maybe next year will be his year.

It has to be Mckim. Alex Cook would have been my preseason pick. The 7th region has been nothing but surprises all season.

Mckim doesn't get it I would be shocked. He has put up a lot of points against some top competition. Also, without him, X would be in a world of hurt.

St X plays at Male Friday, should be a good one.

McKim does more for his team. Cook got the tools the next level is looking for.
