Featured Replies

CARLETON, Mich. (WTVG) - A Michigan man is facing an involuntary manslaughter charge after his wife died from an abscess filled with live maggots.

The Michigan State Police said 67-year-old Robert Shelton's wife arrived at Promedica Monroe Regional Hospital unconscious on June 6, 2015 and that's when the investigation began.

I'm curious to know more. My gut tells me that this fool probably thought he was doing right by her by keeping her at home when she desperately need an entirely different level of care. Maybe that's wishful thinking on my part about his mindset.

Maybe he was keeping her alive for the social security checks. That's what I'd do.

Or this is depraved, and could be aggravated to murder.

Man, I hope your wife doesn't get on here.
