I highly doubt that the 15th region would beat Paducah Tilghman, Murray or McCracken County. I would probably take Perry Central over the 15th too. And I'm not sold on Morgan County winning the 16th, although they could. And that being said, I'd still take the 16th over the 15th. The 15th isn't beating Daviess County or Owensboro Catholic either.

 

LC split with PCC. Morgan is the best in the 16th and I think they will win that region and if you dont think LC or Magoffin could beat the 16th then you dont watch much basketball in the mountains anymore. Anyone in the first region would be a slight underdog against LC if they come out of that region too. Murray got throttled by Cordia and I watched LC handle Cordia this summer.

 

The 15th is not the cream of the state by no means, but they are not the bottom either. You should support your region as Magoffin has great shot of winning it. If you think otherwise, then you dont watch much or understand matchups and instead go off what you read and hear. I have seen almost every team in the 14th, 15th and 16th play this season and watched a few from said regions as well.

I've actually watched teams from the 1st and 3rd regions this season. I love the 15th Region but it's my opinion that it's the weakest region in the state. That being said, I hope Magoffin County runs the table and cuts down the nets in Rupp.

They have a chance to do it. Losing Isaac will hurt, but the Peters kid has the ability to step in for them. I have always thought Magoffin has the most complete team in the region and given credit where credit is due (they have all the pieces). Its funny I havent seen you at any 15th Region games and I have scouted every team (outside Piarist, Phelps, and Allen Central multiple times). Also never seen you at any of the 14th region games I have been to (probably 11 or so) or 16th region games (probably 8-10). This dosent include the 14th and 16th region opponents I have seen playing 15th region opponents. In my opinion the 16th is the weakest top to bottom in the state and I dont think its even close. LC has the ability to beat a good team if they are hot and so does Magoffin (who has won 9 in a row and are playing very very well).

Like I said, we will agree to disagree. Back to the spirit of the thread I think the 6th got a good draw for the state tournament and will be a double digit favorite against the 15th unless something crazy happens in the regions.
