3rd party voting right now is a throw-away vote in the immediate, but could lay the groundwork for actual (and needed) change down the road.

 

In KY your votes for the two major party candidates are true throw-aways.

I had the same quandary in this past Novembers election in the Gov race. One guy I absolutely wasn't going to vote for, one guy who didn't do/show me enough to earn my vote and who I had some questions about, and the 3rd party guy I just could not take seriously (because he seemed to me to not take it seriously) so wasn't going to vote for him either. Needless to say I left that race blank when I voted. First time I had done that.
