So, basically, it’s fair to say that the inaction of the refs decided the outcome..

I also feel like he would have made it as I have followed Cincinnati sports my whole life and expect to have y heart ripped out.

Still, Blair Walsh was money all day then shanked a chip shot. When you have to put 15 yards more worth of leg into a kick no one knows what would have happened.

Agreed. Steelers had enough time to run one or two more plays, and I definitely agree with McPapa that their kicker would have nailed it from 50, based on his previous kicks.

Bottom line: You just can't be stupid with less than 2 minutes to play, and Bengals were. It's like Chad and T.O. resurfaced as defensive players the last 2 minutes of the game.

Based on Minnesota's kickers previous kicks you would have thought he would have nailed a 27 yard field goal. A little different kicking from 50 in the rain with season on the line than 35 yard line. Not to mention the crowd may have even been yelling on the 50 yard kick. I feel like the crowd was in such shock with what happened that by the time it was time to kick the field goal the crowd wasn't even loud.
