Coach Gray and Coach "P" (Pangallo) are two of the best I've seen. Coach for CovCath also does a great job. (Coach Otte I believe)

John Shields at Bellevue. My son is a Freshman and has played the last two years for John. He does a fantastic job with the boys.

You can't base one's coaching ability on W/L at the JV level. Way too many variables and it shouldn't be the focus.

I agree!

JV is tough to coach for a multitude of reasons as Clyde said. The first few that come to mind: the roster is constantly changing with players moving up and down in the depth chart (due to performance, injury, grades, etc.), a lot of players don't like playing JV, the environments can be less than impressive.

 

With that being said, I would agree that Pangallo and Otte are two of the best in NKY. I'll never forget after my senior year I played in an open gym and saw Jimmy Pangallo and the first thing he did was congratulate me on a great career and senior season. Class act.

Good coach would start five best players, that is not the case.

Jimmy Pangallo coaches with such passion and energy and gets the best out of his kids. Won the JV regional last year against cov Cath!

What about coach Bowman and the Cougars. He's teams always seem to have sucess
