Carters Lake in Georgia

Anyone ever been? Seems I've agreed to fish it in mid March.

Is it near Cartersville? Spent the night there once while traveling, but that was the extent of it. Pretty area.

Never been. The nearest "town" (because it plainly says on the map that there's a Walmart supercenter) is Elijay. So, I assume two different spots.

But doc, you have to remember, when @mcpapa spent the night, glaciers were still present in that area and the lake didn't exist. So I'm not too sure how much help he could have been anyway.:idunno:
