Does any school ask for something besides money to watch the Spring Game?

We're considering asking for a jar of peanut butter and a jar of jelly instead of money this year so that we can feed the kids sandwiches all summer long. Does anyone else do something like this and what do they ask for. Thanks in advance.

Spring game at SK is free, but we do ask for peanut butter and jelly donations at the end of the year banquet at the end of January.
