Still getting information. Only happened a few hours ago. I believe the Police Officer is in stable condition(likely at UC medical center). Sounds like the guy he exchanged gun fire with is likely being prepped for an autopsy.

Traffic stop in front of Riverside Market on Elm St. From what I read on social media, the suspect is from Ludlow and was pronounced dead at UC Medical Center. The officer is thankfully in stable condition.

Heading should probably read, Officer Shot in Ludlow during traffic stop. If a MOD wouldn't mind changing that for me that would be great.

Glad to hear the officer is in stable condition. Prayers for both families involved in this tragedy.
