Louisville St Xavier at Covington Catholic 12.18

Featured Replies

Battle of the all-boys Catholic schools this Friday in Park Hills.

Interesting note: 2011 CCH grad Jake Thelen is the JV coach for St X.

His brother plays JV for CCH.

I can't wait. Between this Friday's game, and next Tuesday's tilt with Ohio's D1 Wilmington (who is 6-0 and beating teams 82-45 on average), we should have a great idea of how CovCath is playing heading to Florida.

I would expect they'll beat St. X on Friday night, but I guess you never know.

Lets see, I went to both schools, and coached both Thelens in the past, Who do I go with?

A Colonel victory with a throw down dunk by Nick would be sweet.

I'll root for Jake & the Tigers to take down anybody else though.

One more reminder that we're aging rapidly.

I could see this game getting out of hand. St. X has great deal of difficulty scoring points. I say Cov Cath by 22.

St. X will not be a factor,,CCH big...
