ISIS and the Ford Truck from Houston

Featured Replies

I hope this guy wins every cent of the million dollars he is suing for. Bad business practice not to take the decals off the truck after telling the guy they would. Can't believe this truck ended up where it did. How does that happen?!

Interesting story on how a traded in Ford truck used for business - with a US company locally owned business logo on it - ended up as the base for a 'tactical' (machine gun platform) for ISIS.

Just show me Carfax please...and export/import papers.

An article referenced here regarding ISIS funding and Turkish support of ISIS is even more interesting.

Why are we not blowing up Syrian Oil refineries?

I believe you mean ISIS controlled Oil refineries - correct?

According to the article ISIS is selling the oil to Turkey - with the so of the Turkey PM being the deal maker.

Correct.

Removing the business name & info. That is a simple procedure that should have been done, but wasn't. I, too, hope the guy gets every bit of the million dollars.

How a vehicle gets to some other place in the world. Once the vehicle is placed into an auction (usually dealers-only), any dealer can buy it. Many vehicles make their way overseas, to who-knows-where. Screening all of the people in that chain to make sure a vehicle doesn't go to a terrorist group would be virtually impossible.

Shoot, we can't even vet people COMING IN to this country. We're not going to do much about vehicles GOING OUT of this country.
