You younger guys have completely hi-jacked this thread. Probably time to shut it down and put me out of misery. Gave you chance to eloquently display your sensitivity, appreciation of meaningful life lessons, and life altering role athletics can play. Asked for "great movies" and we get from you....Space Jam, Jackie Moon, Fish That Saved Pittsburgh, One on One...this list makes me lose confidence in our next generation. They were basketball, but would anyone, anywhere except BGP members label them great? Would they make anyone's Got To Watch It, If It On list?

 

Even gave you a list to work with..."Greats".... like Rudy, Hoosiers, The Natural, Field of Dreams, We Are Marshall, and then the controversial Tin Cup. All of these were on my Got To Watch It If It Is On meter. But, only one was a basketball theme and one has to wonder why Hollywood has missed the potential of this audience?
