Returning State Champs extend their winning streak.

A nice balanced scoring attack as the new-look Indians get the opening night win. Senior Morgan Gabbard led the way with 11 pts and Junior Zyah Beal added 10.

 

Next up for the Lady Indians will be St. Henry on Wednesday night. We will be broadcasting the game live on Holy Cross Radio.

Good first outing for the Ladies

Lots of holes to fill and having an easy opponent builds confidence but the Assumption kids really played hard to offset their lack of individual talent

I agree, it was a good outing. I don't think I would say Assumption has lack of talent, maybe young. however, I also think the coach evened the playing field by allowing the subs to get so much play time. I was a good experience for all the kids.

They must be young. They were 9-17 last year and lost 5 seniors from that team. They only have 1 SR and 4 JRs on this years team. Program seems to be filled with soph and frosh. Sounds like they may be okay in a couple years!
