Anyone with any insight?

Eastern by 15 if the teams play anywhere close to how they scrimmaged (I know, I know....scrimmages)......but I think Eastern is up and Mercy a little down this year??? But they play the game tonight and I may eat crow?????

I know Eastern seems loaded, did Mishler ever get cleared? Also I keep hearing and seeing that Mercy has high hopes even without Anderson!

not sure on mishler......mercy is still good.....just think they may be a little down from previous years.

Mercy has struggled a little over the summer and with the pre-season scrimmages. They played well in a scrimmage with Henderson Co but had a horrendous outing against Ryle. They still have a lot of talent but may take awhile for them to gel as a team. I look for them to take a few on the chin early in the season but think they should definitely compete for the district and regional title at the end of the year.

Final from Eastern, Eastern 77 Mercy 61. Eastern pulled away at the end for the victory. Well played game from both schools. Mercy gave Eastern all they wanted. It was a 2 point game with 6 minutes to go. Excellent 3 pt shooters at Eastern.

Mishler will be eligible for the rest of the season after this game. She got cleared and had to wait 15 days to participate and the game last night just so happened to fall on the 15th day.
