Opinions on Class A Region 4. Who you think will come out on top this year and who you think will be the players to watch in this region?

Pikeville-John Micheal Mayo-QB,MLB

Tim and Ted Honaker,OLB

Daniel Harmon-RB

Casey Rowe-DL

Brad Bryant,Jordan Tibbs-OL

Paintsville-Daniel Pugh-QB...the best player in the region IMO.

Mayo should have a very good year for Pikeville this year. I'm looking forward to watching the Honaker twins in their 2nd year in Coach Jackson's system and weightlifting/conditioning program...these 2 have a lot of potential.

The only game i ever really heard Pugh's name was the game against Evarts where he had like 10 touchdowns by himself

Pugh had a good first half against Lynn Camp. He made good strong passes, and a couple of good runs, and one that just was simply unbelievable. Imo he is the top listed player in the region right now, with Joe Roskopf of Lynn Camp, John Cole and Ross Deaton of Somerset, and Chase Hamblin of Williamsburg right behind him.

You're forgetting two srs.

Jacob Sword and Ryan Shurtleff should be mentioned with this group also.:thumb:

A couple of darkhorses for you....Williamsburg could surprise, nice senior class led by Frazier, Hamlin, and Root, and Cumberland could be a nice team as well.

I knew I was forgetting some guys. Thanks Zeus.

A few other guys to look for this year for Paintsville is Kyle Sublett FB/LB, J.J. Hensley C/DL, Casey Brown OL/DL, and Shane Cantrell RB/LB.

I have seen him play, he is the region best player right now.:thumb:

How many seniors does Paintsville have to replace? Didn't they lose a bunch to graduation? How many seniors will paintsville have this year?

We both forgot about Eric Shockey.

We both forgot about Eric Shockey.

You are right. Where will he be playing? I thought he was playing back-up QB.

Has he been moved to another position?

Also, Trey Branham will step right in on the line. Which side, I don't know.

JOe Roskopf is returning at Lynn Camp with the same 0-line an fb lc has a pretty good chance as long as everyone stays healthy
