Notre Dame spreads people out just like Clemson and had a freshman qb playing in his first true top team on the road in pouring rain. Which Notre Dame has a good passing game too with him and weapons to throw to. So yes the conditions also had an effect on them. Which as I mentioned those conditions helped lead to Clemson jumping out so early on them.

I understand Notre Dame spreads teams out too, but Clemson is better at it. Both teams were obviously adversely affected, I just personally feel like Clemson was at a greater disadvantage.

Which I disagree lol especially with Notre Dame playing a freshman qb making his third career start I believe. So we will have to agree to disagree on this.

Clemson relies on having better athletes and Deshaun Watson getting the ball out to his playmakers. Notre Dame is a more physical team than Clemson, which would help them out more in the sloppy conditions.

The "Notre Dame has inferior athletes" argument has been valid for the last decade, but not this year. Also...the poor weather obviously did have a bigger impact on ND, as they had 4 turnovers to 1 for Clemson...and still outgained them by 140 yards.

As an Irish fan, Clemson is the one top five team that I would LOVE for them to get a shot at in the playoffs.

These will probably change in the next couple of weeks due to teams playing each other. My personal opinion for this week .....

1) Clemson

2) Ohio State

3) Alabama

4) Baylor

5) Iowa

6) OK. State

7) Notre Dame

8) Stanford

9) Florida

10) Michigan State ...tie

10) Oklahoma ....... tie
