The Caldwell/PT game was a lot closer than the final score shows. It was a one score game going into the 4th quarter but Caldwell scored to make it a two possession game late in the 4th and then had a Pick 6 at the end to seal the deal. PT's starting QB also went out with a shoulder injury early in the 2nd quarter and never returned. PT is rolling right now and is going to be very tough to beat. This should be a great game.

 

Spot on. This game was a battle until Dunigan (QB) went down. PT was very limited in the passing game after this allowing Caldwell to key on the run. Game was a toss up without the injury.

Just on what I've seen of both teams, I like Paducah Tilghman.

 

However, Tilghman can be kinda flaky. World beaters one week, down the next.

 

Tough to call, but I like Tilghman by a TD, just because I think they have more athletes.

 

The inconsistencies more than likely coincide with the amount of penalties. PT is prone to the flag. The Mayfield game got ugly due to extending MF drives with flags and killing drives of their own with flags. Coach Rogers stated they would get beat by 100 if they make the foolish mistakes as in the Edmonson Co. game.

ETown has played an easier schedule than Tilghman, but they have taken care of their business by going undefeated. I think it would be fools gold to go into Etown looking for a cakewalk because of their schedule.

 

Both teams have the ability to put up points and I look for this one to be a high scoring affair, as long as PT keeps its focus and plays all 4 quarters. I say the key to the outcome will be Etowns defense.

I believe Etown will be able to score on PT, but how will their defense hold up to PT's offense who tends to score faster?

If they can stop PT, it should be tight, but if PT breaks a couple more plays, they will pull away late.

 

I am going to go with PT with a couple of late scores. 45-35

Big test for E-town and coach Brown, but I think they will handle it...E-town = W.

Well Etown is scoring 44 a game and giving up around 11. PT is scoring around 35 a game and giving up about 19. So I guess I will go with Etown 31 - 24.

If PT played Etown's schedule then they would be 11-0 too.

I think this will be a good close game. PT should be able to score on Etown.

It will come down to how well Tilghman's defense plays, if they can get some stops

and if they keep the ball in the offense's hands then PT will win.
