Trinity scored two touchdowns in the first quarter for 12-0 lead. Moeller scored 9 points in the second quarter, including a 43 yard field goal. The Crusaders and Rocks played a scoreless third quarter before Moeller connected on a 40 yard TD pass in the fourth quarter.

 

Moeller led this one 16-12 with two minutes to play when the Rocks turned the ball over on downs inside the Moeller 15. Three plays and about a minute in game time later, Moeller took an intentional safety.

 

The Crusaders kicked off from their 20 and Trinity began their drive close to midfield. One pass from McKean to Dingle and the Rocks had retaken the lead. 8 points in 15 seconds! Moeller did complete a few passes and were around the Trinity 30 when the time expired.

 

Trinity finished the freshmen campaign 8-1- the loan loss was versus Male.
