Great win for our young Eagles the 8th grade is 24-0 over the past two seasons with back to back championships.

Was told it was a close game most of the way with Boyle scoring two td's in the 4th quarter to seal it, and Anderson having it in the red zone 4 times during the game and walking away with no points. I thought it would be a closer game than the first contest, that turned out to be the case. Congrats to Boyle on a very fine season. Now is basketball time!:thumb:

Boyle's best all around player and one of the state's best 8th graders did not play in the game because of an injury. The team sure picked it up without him in those last three games. Congrats.

It was 20-6 at half...Anderson scored a long run. BCMS made a defensive adjustment and that stopped the sweeps. Anderson held the ball literally the entire 3rd qtr and turned the ball over on downs on the first play of the 4th at around the BCMS 10. They got inside the red zone maybe 2 times and failed to score. The game was never in doubt.

 

ACMS played the style you have to to beat BCMS. Keep our offense off the field and don't have a turnover. Once the 3rd qtr was gone BCMS got VERY conservative and ran out the clock.

 

Got our back-to-back football titles, now time for the 3-peat in Bball.
