Waggener 54 Moore 20

Featured Replies

So proud of our Senior class who had only won 2 games in their career before this year. Waggener moved to 5-4 with a chance at their first winning season since 2004, with a win next week over Valley.

Great for the kids that have been there for four years. Would like to know how two kids that played three varsity games at another local high school this season can play for Waggener now?

The term is "financial hardship". If the private school agrees with transfer, then the KHSAA will approve it quickly. I know of two other fairly recent instances of students playing for a school one week and playing for a different school the next week without a change of address.

Did you know there were 525 applications for transfers in July, August and September? This comes from the KHSAA Board of Control notes posted on the website. 92 were declared ineligible. 36 were pending as of 9/30/15.

Here we go with this again. Please consult last week's game thread from the TNHS game where the coach addresses this, quite adequately and commendably.
