What was rational for highlands taking a safety up 14-30 with 10 seconds left? Why risk fumble and touchdown for 5 seconds of clock?

Gosney was the qb. Then he got hurt and Johnston took over. Just pray Gosney wasn't hurt that bad. My nephew said he overheard he was hurt pretty bad. Pray that is not the case
