Funny you brought that up. I was not on this forum at that time but from what I read Lex Cath were to busy prepping for Russell County who is suppose to be tough that season and couldn't care less what BC was doing. I did not read any post that would point out or chose Mercer to upset BC. LC fan just assumed that BC will just handle their business. I know it's a few season ago @Hatz but if you can recall any fans that was rooting for Mercer that weekend, please advised us all.

Just human nature. Boyle was unbeaten that year and had defeated Lex Cath already by about 11. I figure it was a help to them not having to face a team that had defeated them earlier. :thumb:
