You mean the Cov Cath that was missing three starters or the PRP that was missing four of their own? The fact that winning summer games is your basis to a good season speaks volumes. Summer means little to nothing about a team...especially since very few teams field their actual teams. However, as I have said, Lafayette will be very good but will miss Jackson more than people think. Lastly, the 11th region tournament is about the draw. If a team draws the 41st or 44th they avoid the Lexington schools and Scott County.

Dunbar, HC, Lafayette, (Bryan Station barely out). LCA, Scott, Catholic, Central second tier. Woodford, Southern, Sayre, Model, Creek, Franklin, Frankfort, third tier. Hills, Berea round it out.

They very well may. Buttrey has a good team. Model may beat them both. Pretty even district if you ask me.

Southern will beat Model by 20 this year. Those games have been close the last few years, but not this year.

The last team to win the 44th other than Madison Central was Madison Southern in 1995.

Yes I do mean Cov Catch had more there than that Hickory. Haha PRP on the road during the summer I couldn't tell you who was missing all I know was the team they had was solid. Much to your shagrin. Hickory pay close attention to the 11th and the Lafayette/Dunbar matchup . You will be looking at 2 teams worthy of Rupp Arena. On a side note Tay Guyn will carry a young Scott Co team that will be play better in February. They could knock off a power in the 11th with Coach Hicks guiding them

Salesman is a great Coach very underappreciated but does a tremendous job atvtge helm of Catholic. Hats off to the guy
