Soccer Thread in Football Forum

@TAC you make some fair points. As I previously stated, I'm not going to try to convince a non-futbol guy. I really don't care if meathead can't appreciate the game.

However, you did cross the line on the grass fairy comment. See what I did there? ;)

Word filters prevented me from using my other favorite term :lol2: You know I love you and you know I'm not one to be politically correct. Especially when it comes to soccer. :p

I'll see you on the hardwood!

I was merely responding to some of the many negative comments made about soccer and soccer players in the football thread on this subject. But let's look at it and see how your D and O linemen would fare. Below are the events.

100-metre dash

Running long (broad) jump

Shot put

High jump

400-meter run

110-metre hurdles

Discus throw

Pole vault

Javelin throw

1,500-metre run

Exactly how many of the above events would your linemen win vs. the CCH starting 11 in soccer? Three.......at most.

You obviously have no idea what the HHS Track team has historically been made of.

As Doc Holiday once said "I know, let's all have a spelling contest"
