I wish my job had a fall, winter, spring and summer break.

Why do schools have a Fall break? You have been in school less than 2 months.

 

I wonder when it became common?

I'd like the idea if the school started fall break on game day Friday. SK has fall break next Friday but plays that night. I'd have no issue with them playing that game on Thursday and giving the kids an extra day off.

 

I agree, I guess the problem is convincing the opponent to play if they don't have the same break schedule.

In Jefferson County Friday is professional development day unless you acquired your hours earlier in the summer (to enjoy St. James)

 

Monday is usually spent reflecting on last year's test scores that are always released right before this weekend through the media.

 

Tuesday is conference day.
