rescheduled for Wednesday

Freshman at 5:30

Varsity at 7 pm

JV plays Ryle in tournament on the weekend.

I assume this game was scheduled to be played at Boone, correct?

Game is scheduled to be played at Ryle.

I was shocked that this game was moved to today because of the rain last night. It's a turf field at Ryle so why move it? Highlands/Campbell County and Cooper/Cov Cath played in the rain yesterday.

It got moved from a turf field? Only possible reason would be Ryle worrying about paying customers. HHS did that in 2002 when they cancelled a football game against CCH due to rain. Moved it to Saturday.

Maybe the deep fryers don't work in the rain........a legitimate reason.....

My feeling is that the window of time that the game was scheduled showed that there could be thunder or lighting the entire time. The game is a district game so has to be played, so rather than have both teams show with the chance it couldn't be finished it was better to reschedule.

No problem with that logic nor do I have problem with trying to play it on a day to get more paying fans.

Problem is, I can't be there on Wednesday :irked: No way they win without me.

The downside is certainly for everyone who made plans around this game being on Wednesday.

Missing a child's game is the pits. I still remember being in a bad mood sitting in the Quebec airport trying to get updates from my wife on my daughter's fastpitch game. Terrible.

Clyde, I hear you......senior day 3 years a go I watched on my computer in a Lincoln Nebraska hotel room as wifey poo walked the oldest down for Senior day....then he scored one and had one assist.

Then I had to go to dinner with the crew after the game......not much on small talk that day....

They don't realize it is all about the parents

So true!

Travel a lot hate to miss any especially now sr year!

Boy was I wrong. Good win for Boone Co tonight
