Night Ranger/Dennis DeYoung Concert

Featured Replies

33 years and still can bring it!!! Original members Kelly Keagy (drummer/vocals) 63 yrs old, Brad Gillis (lead guitar) 57 yrs old, & Jack Blades (bass/vocals) 61 yrs. old, along with new members Eric Levy (keyboards) & Keri Kelli (Guitars) showed how age doesn't stop true musicians from showcasing their musical skills. The vocals and music sounded no different then they did so long ago, and they still can move across the stage as if they were in their 20's.

I really enjoyed the songs from the groups some of these guys played with before joining Night Ranger or when Night Ranger was on hiatus. Keri Kelly used to be the guitarist for Alice Cooper, Brad Gillis replaced Randy Rhodes with Ozzy Osborne, following his death, Jack Blades was a member of the Damn Yankees during a break with Night Ranger, and they played Highway Star because that was the music they grew up on.

Night Ranger set list

Touch of Madness

Sing Me Away

Four in The Morning

Schools Out For Summer (Alice Cooper)

Crazy Train (Ozzy Osborne)

High Road

Eddie's Comin' Out Tonight

High Enough (Damn Yankees)

Goodbye

When You Close Your Eyes

Don't Tell Me You Love Me

Highway Star (Deep Purple)

Sister Christian

(You Can Still) Rock In America

All I can say is I severely UNDERESTIMATED Dennis DeYoung and his band......VERY IMPRESSED!!! For a man 68 years of age Dennis DeYoung sounds no different than if you put in a CD from 25-30 years ago. His two guitarist Jimmy Leahey & August Zadra were simply UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!:ylsuper: When they played, Blue Collar Man, Foolin' Yourself, & Renegade you would have thought Tommy Shaw was on stage...it was that good.

If you ever get the chance to see either of these acts, they are both well worth the money.

Dennis DeYoung set list

Grand Illusion

Lady

Lorelei

Blue Collar man

Show Me The Way

Mr. Roboto

Too Much Time On My Hands

Rockin' The Paradise

Babe

Fooling Yourself

Suite Madame Blue

Kind of disappointing that Dennis Deyoung didn't play Dessert Moon. Loved that song of his when he went solo.

Saw Night Ranger here in Martinsville a few years ago. Awesome show.

I was expecting that one as well.

I've seen them both in the last few years. Love the Styx set list. Wow!
