Corbin was exposed a bit in their loss to Danville last week. Southwestern has routed both bad teams they've played, slipped by a good Knox Central team, but also lost to a struggling Bourbon County club. The game is at Corbin. Who wins?

I expect Corbin to play much better this week. They really struggled in the rain last week with the Center/QB exchange, which resulted in 9 fumbles and a little less than 100 yds. of offense. They also had a bad snap that led to a blocked punt and Danville's first TD. The defense kept them in it by holding Danville to 200 yds. of offense, but too many short fields led to them giving up 20 points.

 

Corbin has also been hit with the injury bug and have several starters out, which has resulted in 3-4 freshman having to play key roles.

 

Corbin needs to keep the Southwestern special teams in check and at least break even in the turnover battle to pull this one out.

On the offensive side, they returned 2 OL, a WR and the TE split time as a starter.

Defensively, 3 DL are back and 1 LB, who now does not start on the defense, but does start as a RB.
